The reason I am bring up this subject today because of what I ate this morning and this afternoon for lunch. Today is my first day eating regular foods again. I have been on a Slim-Fast Low-Carb Milk Shake diet and I got used to the portions on the shakes and the limited food I could eat. Well like my Grandpa said was true for this morning and lunch. Not so sure about lunch but for sure breakfast. See what I had for breakfast was a Carination Breakfast Essentials shake with a banana, egg low fat English muffin, and some homemade soup. Now after eating all those foods I got sick. It was too much for my body to handle after a long time on cutting down my portions. So, now having experiencing over eating after losing my weight I have found out that I am better off cutting down on my eating. I have to tell myself that before I make something to cut the portion in half in my mind.
I did get my work out in today too. I took my boss’s dogs for a walk at the dog park and had a 30 minute walk with them. Not as fast as I am use to because the ground was uneven and sandy, but I still did walk. I also did Zumba again and I found out that the more times I do Zumba workout the more I am getting in rhythm of the dancing. I have no rhythm at all, so I am working on it.
Later that night, I babysit my friend’s kids (it’s one of my side jobs, plus it is fun and good practice) and when I made dinner for them (mac and cheese with green beans and chicken nuggets) I was taking some off their plates. After taking my second nugget off their plates and 2 spoonfuls mac and cheese I know I had to stop. I went to the frig and got my fruit cup and yogurt that I brought over to eat while they eat. After eating that I was full and didn’t want to eat anymore until later with my friends.
After babysitting, I went to a friends for girl’s night and had some of her fish soup and potatoes and they were awesome! She told me where she got the recipe and I plan to make it for my family. After we watched some old Vampire Diaries TV show because I am trying to get caught up on the show, I stayed around my friends house to talk about life, weight, and problems with weight.
Weight Lose Tip: Watch your portions, whether on a food label, home or restaurant. Watch what you put on your plate and how often you get food. The more you eat the more you will gain in weight. Like my friend said, “If you have to go out to eat, eat half of the food and put the other half in a to-go box.”
Dating Advice: If you start to talk to a guy whether it’s by text, chat, email, phone, or face to face and they talk about sex first and you are looking for a real honest relationship then don’t talk to those guys. All they want from you is sex, they could be the type of guy that will date you a couple times then have sex and leave you. Those type of guys are asses. They just want sex. So my advice is to stay away from them.
