Attitude and how to change it.

Life is difficult at times and I think I am hitting that point in my life. Well, life for me right now isn’t what I thought it would be. I thought I would be healthier (I’m Not), Be married to a great man (I’m Not), Have kids (I don’t), Be on my own from my family (I’m Not) and working my Career job (not yet). So life has through me for a loop, but I am working on it. My cousin once told me that, “Just focus on you and the rest will come with time.” So I am taking that cue from her and running with it.

See lately, I have been focusing on my weight lose more, which I am still doing. But I also need to focus on my classes (which start today) because when I was focused on someone else I lost my way on my grades and withdrew. There are other reasons for me withdrawing for example, computer problems and no motivation. So now since I am single again and it’s a new year I am going to focus on my health, school, work, and life. If it works out then maybe a man will find me. I am also changing those negatives to positives this year. This year will be a year of change for me. So here is a positive look on the things I listed above:

Being healthier: Well I started back on Tuesday December 27, 2011 on a new weight lose and my mind is set this year on doing it. So far I lost 8 Lbs since then. Thursday I will find out if I have lost or gained this coming week.

Be married to a great man: Even though this hasn’t happened yet, I have to leave that one day it will happen. I am a hopeless romantic and believe that love will find its way no matter what type of men I may date. Plus I am a catch.

Have kids: That is okay. I will have them in time with the right now, but for now I borrow 3 or my friend’s kids to babysit and hang out with to understand what I am in-store for when I do have kids.

Be on my own from my family: I am currently going to school so that one day I can be on my own without my parents assistance.

Working my Career job: This is why I am focusing on the school so I can get my career job, but the current job is nice too and I may get certified in that too. I think education is important and anyone that doesn’t think education is important then ask them what their job is.

So besides changing my attitude, I am also trying to change my lifestyle too. By trying to make better choices, then from what I did this weekend.

Weekend:

So I had a great weekend. I went on a 2 hour walk with a close friend and it was nice going outside for a change compared to my basement and treadmill. I am thinking of going on a couple of hikes this summer and I am hoping to get a bike so I can go bike riding. I also did another short walk on Sunday with that same friend and her kids. It was great. I also did a bad thing by going to Frankenmuth and having some birthday cake with ice cream. I did my best on portions, but I have a feeling that this week is going to be bad on the weight. If it is then I will learn NOT to do it again. I will learn from it and keep moving forward.

Weight Loss Tip:

Keep a positive attitude. Whether it is in life or weight lose/gain, keep a positive attitude. I know it can be a struggle sometimes, but learn from your mistakes and don’t do it again. Attitude can change everything.

Dating Advice:

Sometimes you have to just stop looking for someone and start focusing on you again. It’s not a bad thing to focus on you because once you do that maybe someone from the opposite sex will notice and come up to you and start talking to you. Once you get your situation figured out then you will be in a better situation for someone else.
