Hard Lesson

Today was starting out good, until my car problem. I learned NOT to sleep while driving. I know, I know you shouldn't do anyways. I couldn't help it with the warm heat in my car and relaxing, but I learned a very hard lesson today. When I fell asleep at the wheel I hit a paved curb, which in turn caused me to dent my rim of my tire and cause flat tire. I called AAA for road side assistance. It took them 45 mins to get to where I was at on Mt. Morris Road right before the 4-way stop at Seymoar road.

While I waited, I called my mom to bring my newer car to me so I could go to work. Which I was over an hour late for, but glad to have an understanding boss. So, 2 gentlemen rolled down there windows and asked me if I needed help. I, first, want to say thank you to the 2 ONLY GENTLEMEN that asked if this Damsel in distress for help. I know these men will never read this, but I am glad that some people have the decency to stop and ask a girl for help. So thank you to those two men that helped me.

So after those men came, that is when the tow truck and my mom came at the same time. I am thankful to my mother for coming out to help me when I needed the help when she was sick. Thank you mom for being my life saver. So I switched cars with my mom because I still had a second job to go to after my first job. So she took the car to Discount Tire and I was right that my car needed a new rim and tire. I always guess for the worst case situations (I am usually right.) I also found out that I needed not one, but two tires for my car. So I got the one that was flat, but plan to get the other one before classes start in January. The Cost was a little over $167.00 not bad I think.

So when I got to work I thought my boss was going to be mad, but he was very understanding. He gave me some advice and I am taking it to heart. I plan to get rid of the car after winter term. I plan to sale it to a family member. They know how well I take care of my cars in an accident or no accident. So we did my bosses errands and he bought me lunch (which brightened my day because I lift my lunch in the other car lol.) Then came back to the workplace and did some more wrapping then went to my second job, which was easy today and I am thankful for it.

Thanks for reading and I hope to hear feedback soon.
