Day 1 of my Life Change

Well, yesterday wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be on the food part, my challenge was getting up to exercise early in the morning. See my body and mind are set to wake up at 7:30 am not 6:30 am. So I am trying to get my body and mind set for my new winter school schedule so I can get my workout in with work and school. This will take about a month to two months for my body to get used to it. I have to tell myself every morning is, “If you don’t get up and workout you are never going to change and you will get bigger then you are now. So make a change by getting up off the bed and go workout.” This works for me and I will do it. Sometimes I have to give myself a little more of a push by saying, “You have been fat for 28 years of your life, time to change that Jennifer. GET UP!!” Got to love my subconscious when it talks to me.

So I go do my work out and did the treadmill for 30 minutes, then do some stretches. I am trying to slowly get into working out again. I got some workout videos like tae-bo, hip-hop, belly dancing, and dancing videos. I am trying to get into a better mode of thinking. I did feel better after the work out.

So now onto the food, I could handle the 3 shakes, fruit cup, yogurt, and dinner with water all day. My hardest time with food was when I was at home and my family was making dinner. I know it will be hard the next 9 days. So, that only gives me 9 days until I can figure out what my new eating plan is for the rest of the month.
