12 Ways to make 2014 the year you get what you want this year.

Here are some ideas to leave 2013 in the dust and start fresh in 2014. Please click the link below for the first 7 ways and here is three more for you to make it 12 ways.

First 7 ways to start off the new year.

8th so for most people that I know had a really bad year. There is a phrase my mother said and I have to agree with her, “This year is like Friday the 13th all freakin year.” I agree with her on that statement. So as one of my friends told me to do when I was getting close to my big 3 0 birthday. That’s right I am now in my 30s. Anyways, my friend told me to write down all my frustrations this month and burn them. Well I changed his month to the end of the year. For me it’s a burning of all the old crap that this year has done to me that is bad and to get rid of all the bad. So every bad feeling or thought you have write it on a piece of paper then BURN IT, bury it, or shred it.

9th Now we are on the ninth thing on my list, which is to write your ultimate dream down on paper. Yeah, I want you to write what will make you most happy in detail. Write how you will feel, touch, see and taste in this ultimate dream. Write everything you want in this life. Then print it out two copies, one for you to keep and the other …well keep reading. Get a balloon with string and tie your letter to this balloon. On New Year’s Day I want you to take that balloon outside and read the copy version once then let it go. This represents that your dreams will take flight and you are letting it out into the world.

10th Then I want you to write all your resolutions down on paper. Whether they are hobbies, interests, things you want to do, things you want to explore, and more. Just write them down and post them where you can see them every day and work on them. Print your resolutions and goals for the year so you can see them.

11th After that I want you to make a creative vision board. From the 7 ways to make 2014 the best year you have ever had article. If you did write things down from each of the seven then make a visual board of the following:

·         Opportunities you want
·         3 obstacles to overcome
·         2 important skill to master
·         Schedule time with family or friends you want to meet or haven’t talked to in a while

And I am adding these ones.

·         Top 3 goals to drive towards
·         3 Words that describe (adjectives) you and your name. They must be positive words. This is also called an affirmation. Example: Beautiful, Confident and Successful Jennifer.
·         Find 3 positive famous quotes to keep you motivated.

Then after making your vision board...

12th  Okay, here is the last thing, Journal or blog. I know its more work that you have to do, but it helps a lot. Plus you make be surprised what thoughts you have going through your head on a daily bases or what happens to you during your life. It may also help you relax.

This year is going to be a better year than last year.  I am just trying to help you to become more focused, motivated and driven this coming year. Please look at my pictures for examples from this year.

Happy New Year’s

Jennifer
